LEGAZPI CITY – Albay 3rd District Rep. Fernando Cabredo officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Wednesday, October 2, at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in this city, signaling his reelection bid for the upcoming 2025 polls.
Cabredo, who is gunning for his third and final term in office, was accompanied by his family and supporters, including Ligao City Mayor Fernando Gonzalez, his uncle former Judge Arnulfo Cabredo, and local officials from his district.
Throughout his tenure, Cabredo championed agriculture and rural development as his top priorities.

As he runs for his final term, he vowed to intensify efforts on infrastructure projects, particularly focusing on the expansion of major highways to four lanes, a move that aims to improve accessibility to key ports in Pantao in Libon, Pio Duran and Tabaco City.

“This will lead to better connectivity and pave the way for an economic boom in the 3rd district,” Cabredo stated in an interview.
He also stressed that these infrastructure improvements would play a pivotal role in fostering growth and development in his district.
