Villar filed her COC at the Manila Hotel Tent City, as several dozens of her orange-clad supporters carrying banners bearing her name gathered outside the venue.

If she wins, Villar will join her brother Mark Villar, and her mother Cynthia Villar in the 20th Congress.

Cynthia Villar is currently a senator but will seek a seat in the House of Representatives in the May elections next year since her three terms in the Senate will end soon.
