Mas malaki at magarang 2nd Go For Gold Criterium Cycling Series 2025 ang papadyak kasunod ng tagumpay na three-leg criterium races ngayong taon sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.
Ito ang isiniwalat ni GFG founder Jeremy Randell Go sa pagdalo nitong Martes sa Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex sa Malate, Manila.
“Next year, we will probably have more legs. Actually, naka-plot na ‘yan that we will have more legs. Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao pa rin. And then we want to add more events, especially road races and time trials,” lahad n iya sa talakayang mga hatid ng San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, Smart/PLDT, at 24/7 sports app ArenaPlus.
“We want to create a cycling league, which hopefully will encourage more riders and more teams to participate and bring up the growth of cycling dito sa Pilipinas,” hirit niya. “We’re looking forward to next year and we’re looking forward to more teams and more riders to participate on a consistent basis.” (Gerard Arce)
