MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Wednesday, aiming for a return to the Senate.
Lacson filed his COC at the Manila Hotel Tent City.

He ran for president in the 2022 elections, with former Senate President Vicente Sotto III as his running mate.
Lacson is included in the administration senatorial slate.

He has already served three terms in the Senate, from 2001 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2022.
