MANILA, Philippines — Those who intend to vie for any position in the 2025 elections have from Oct. 1 to 8 to file the following necessary documents, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec):

- Certificate of Candidacy (COC) and Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA)
- List of Nominees, Certificate of Nomination, Certificate of Acceptance (CON-CAN), and Affidavit of Qualifications
- Substitution of party-list nominees due to withdrawal of acceptance
- COC for a substitute candidate after an official candidate withdraws
