Team Makabagong San Juan viles COC for 2025 polls

SAN JUAN CITY, Metro Manila – Members of Team Makabagong San Juan, led by Mayor Francis Zamora, on Tuesday officially filed their certificates of candidacy (COCs) for the 2025 midterm elections.

The day began with a Holy Mass at 8:00 AM at the Santuario del Santo Cristo Parish, followed by a symbolic march to the Comelec San Juan Office at the San Juan City Mini Park, where Mayor Zamora, Vice Mayor Atty. Angelo “AAA” Agcaoili, and candidates for city councilor under Partido Federal ng Pilipinas filed their COCs at 9:00 a.m.

Later in the morning, the team proceeded to the Comelec – NCR Office in Barangay Greenhills, where they accompanied Rep. Bel Zamora as she submitted her COC for reelection under Lakas-CMD.

The Team Makabagong San Juan lineup ism made up of both seasoned public servants and new faces, all dedicated to sustaining the city’s development.

In District 1, reelectionists Ryan Llanos Dee, Ervic Vijandre, and basketball star James Yap were joined by newly appointed city councilor Boyet Tolentino, Barangay Captain Dennis Pardinez, and former basketball star Renren Ritualo.

In District 2, reelectionists Don Allado, Totoy Bernardo, Bea de Guzman, Macky Mathay, Kit Peralta, and Franco Tañada-Yam completed the team.

Mayor Zamora is running for his third and final term, focusing on the continued progress of San Juan City through various infrastructure and public service projects and leaving a lasting legacy.

Rep. Zamora, meanwhile, is seeking her second term in Congress, where she has been a strong advocate for the city’s interests.

The candidates and their supporters expressed optimism for another successful campaign, aiming to continue the vision of a modern and inclusive San Juan City.
